Registration opens February 1st
March - June
Spring Season
Early Bird Fee: $200 (February 1st - February 19th)
Regular Fee: $215 (February 20th - March 5th)
Late Fee: $240 (March 6th - March 17th)
*Games and practices to be held indoors at Newcomb Academy (occasionally we may use outdoor courts)
*1 practice day per week (at Newcomb Academy)
* Games will be played on Sundays at Newcomb Academy between the hours of 7:30am and 1pm (during spring, we may play other teams in Orange County at Orange County locations)
*All participants will receive a participation medal at the end of the season.
* 1st place trophies for each grade division!
* Primary team practices will be held at Newcomb Academy
*$300 sponsor required for each team (or fee to be evenly divided)
* Divisions are as such:
Rookie: Kinder - 1st grade (Rookie will play on 8.5 ft court)
*If your 1st grader is advanced, we may ask them to play with the 2nd graders
Division 4: 2nd grade (division 4 will play on 10 ft court)
Division 3: 3rd - 4th grade
Division 2: 5th - 6th grade
Division 1: 7th - 8th grade
* All divisions EXCEPT Rookies will participate on 10ft regulation courts

Our Program
We at Team Nikos Long Beach (TNLB) believe that playing sports, staying fit, and having great character is vital to the maintenance of a healthy lifestyle.
Our prices are all inclusive and include 2 practices a week and 2 tournaments a month. We do have a uniform package, but we do not have a registration fee.
We currently serve ages 8-14 and grades 2nd - 8th grade. Join us today to become a part of our ever-growing program.
The Holloway Basketball Journey
Our son Jordan Holloway started his love for basketball at the early age of 3. After noticing that he could not live life without a basketball in his hands, we put him in several programs. We quickly noticed this was where his heart was. On our basketball journey, we discovered Long Beach NJB, under the direction of Larry Cunningham. We were then invited to tryout for Team Nikos Long Beach.
We had been a part of the Long Beach Team Nikos family since 2014 when the pandemic hit in 2020. We understood, but we were devastated when Larry decided that he would no longer continue the program. Our son had so many questions and confusion that the program he grew up in would no longer be there. Many players separated and found new homes, but we bleed blue and our heart was Team Nikos Long Beach.
After being a part of many basketball programs: training, recreation, club ball etc...we decided that the best thing for our family was to take over Team Nikos Long Beach. We are creating a space we can be proud of, that would function as a program that serves the community and gives back to a city that are proud to live in.
